My wife and I were delighted with our recent 24 day tour of Ethiopia in November 2018, with Teddy of Mahlet Tours. I had extensive discussions with Teddy prior to our trip, by e-mail and face-to-face when Teddy was in the UK for a visit, as we settled on a tailor-made tour around Ethiopia that covered the places and things we wanted to see and do, and which kept single night stops to a minimum. Teddy’s advice in putting forward options for us was extremely helpful. He chose all our hotels and lodges with care.

Teddy accompanied us throughout the journey, and has an excellent network of drivers and local guides at the main centres that we visited.

The personal service that Teddy provided us could not be faulted – he was attentive to our wishes, and as it was just the two of us he could adjust timings etc to suit us. He even arranged for a personal guide for my wife in Lalibela to accompany and assist her as we walked around the rock-hewn churches.

Four of us booked a two week  private tort Northern Ethiopia with Teddy and we enjoyed it so much that we returned a year later to do the South! We have  visited Ethiopia twice, once using Teddy as a Guide and our second visit he and his team organized our whole tour. His knowledge of his country, his contact everywhere we went—even to the tiniest village— were amazing.
